Already own one? Start with your goal.
Organize a manufactured-home refinance review.
Name the reason
Write down whether your priority is a different payment, a shorter payoff timeline, changing loan features or discussing access to equity. Those goals can point to different questions and tradeoffs.
Gather your starting information
- Current statement, remaining balance, interest rate and loan term.
- Whether the land is owned or leased and how the home is titled.
- Home address, construction year and known installation records.
- Any additional liens and your approximate time horizon.
- The outcome you want and the costs you want to avoid.
Compare total cost and time
Ask for a side-by-side review of your current loan and proposed terms, including closing costs and the remaining payoff period. A lower monthly payment does not by itself prove a lower lifetime cost. Where applicable, use the Loan Estimate comparison fields to review the offer.
Keep documents secure
Start with a general inquiry. Share financial statements only through a verified secure lender channel after discussing next steps.
Put it to use.
Save your questions in the free buyer worksheet, or discuss your situation with Erik.
